In the first picture I took a picture of the sign to my Dads Alpaca farm and put the sign in the first third of the picture with the nice foliage in the background. I especially love the maple tree branch hanging down into the picture.Sunday, October 11, 2009

I enjoy the top one. There is so much beauty in this picture from the sign, the branch, mountains, trees, and the sky. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteWow, the first photo is amazing... the background adds a lot to it, and I think the over-hanging branch does also.
ReplyDeleteVery cool that your dad has an alpaca farm :)
This is a perfect example of the rule of thirds. The sign in the middle is nothing special, but with it off to the side and slightly out of focus, it emphasizes the beautiful background and adds an element of interest to the shot. Nice work!

These are good. The lower one is a front and center type of shot...the top one lovely. You can probably get more color out of the top one if you bring it into photoshop and adjust the contrast and bump the color saturation...great work and good example of the rule of thirds infuence
